The financial and Microsoft-partner ecosystem in Hyderabad runs on ASP.NET Core. If your target employers are .NET / Azure shops, this is the direct path in.
Non-technical career switchers
C# is a clean, well-documented first language, and the async/await model maps well to how people think about work. If you can follow a business process, you can follow C#.
Windows-ecosystem professionals
If you already live inside Excel, Windows or Microsoft 365, the .NET tooling and vocabulary will feel familiar faster than a Unix-based stack would.
Not the right track if…
You want to move deliberately toward open-source-only tooling. .NET runs on Linux fine now, but the hiring ecosystem you target will skew Microsoft. Java Full Stack keeps the enterprise entry door open with a different vendor ecosystem.
